Create a Wireless Network For Windows without Router(Ad hoc method):
- Right-click on the “Internet Access” icon in the system case, and then Open the Network and Sharing Center, click Change Adapter Settings, that is listed in the left pane.
- In the next Window, right-click the Local Area Connection icon, and choose the Sharing tab.
- check the box in front of the option Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s internet connection, and then select Wireless Network Connection in the drop-down menu listed below it. If you want others to control or disable the shared Internet connection, check the second box.
- Click on “OK” to close the Local Area Connection Properties dialog box.
- Next, click on Network and Internet in the address bar of the control panel window and go to Network and Sharing Center.
- Make sure that your wireless adapter is turned on and then click on Set up a new connection or network.
- In the “Set up a Connection or Network” dialog box, select Set up a wireless ad hoc (computer-to-computer) network, and then click Next.Click on next again.
- Give the network a name, select the Security type to WEP in the drop-down menu, create a new Security Key (password), and check the box beside Hide characters option. The Save this network box is by default unchecked. To select this option, simply check the box
- That’s it click on the next button and we are done.Now your laptop will function as a Wi-Fi hotspot through which you can connect your other devices to the Internet.
Note(A small tip):A small thing or a tip you must keep in your mind is that if you want an uninterrupted Internet connection is to ensure that your Ethernet driver is up-to-date. An old or corrupt Ethernet driver may prevent you from accessing the Internet, besides causing other errors. The best and fastest way to update Ethernet and other.
If you have used windows 7 or earlier version of windows then you might have not faced any problem in converting your desktop pc or Laptop into WiFi Hotspot as Windows 7 provides direct option for creation of WiFi hotspot by adhoc network but in windows 8 there is no such direct option for creating adhoc network and it becomes much more complicated & complexed if you want to manually create adhoc network in Windows 8.You can create WiFi hotspot either by using CMD or using free third party applications.Creating adhoc network via CMD becomes quite difficult task most of the time and is not much reliable especially when you don’t want to make your windows settings a blunder.

Ad Hoc Method or “Software Use” Method :
Are you thinking which method among the above two methods is correct than my answer is “Software USE” method is the best method as it is single click installation method and the ad hoc method is a lengthy method apat from that the ad hoc method only works for Ethenet Cable it doesn’t work for other connections and ethernet connection i only can support ad hoc method.So, the better method to Create WiFi without router is Sotware use as i said above.
