Software Development Engineer in Test
(SDET)
SDETs are highly technical and use their technical
prowess to build and maintain automation systems, debug and isolate problems,
and execute creative tests to make sure our software is ready for prime time.
SDETs write a lot of code to test software features and extend our automation
infrastructure. You work closely with SDEs and PMs, each contributing equally
to the development life cycle. By applying to this role, you will be considered
for all available Software Development roles.
Qualifications:
1. Pursuing or within six months of graduation with a
Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Engineering, CSE or related field
2. 1-2 years of experience programming in C++, Java or other
computer programming languages preferred in SDE and C/C#/VB.NET & exp. in
1-2 years of experience in designing and developing tool architecture preferred
in SDET
3. Should be to derive creative and innovative solutions by
thinking "outside the box" (SDE)
4. Nice skills in estimating development time (SDE)
5. Must be able to author test plans and cases, conduct
security and stress tests and debug at source level after identifying,
investigating and prioritizing bugs (SDET)
